BattleRoyale Limited Edition Box set
Oh sweet Battle Royale. I can't even count how many people I've introduced you to. Well Nov 29th, you will be introducing us to the wonderful world of Beat Takashi.
Here is the synopsis:
"At the dawn of the new millennium, Japan is in a state of near-collapse. Unemployment is at an all-time high, and violence amongst the nation's youth is spiralling out of control. With school children boycotting their lessons and physically abusing their teachers, a beleagured and near-defeated government decides to introduce a radical new measure: the Battle Royale Act.
Overseen by a former teacher, (Takeshi Kitano), and requiring that a randomly chosen school class be taken to a deserted island and forced to fight each other to the death, the Act dictates that only one pupil be allowed to survive the punishment. He or she will return, not as the victor, but as the ultimate proof of the lengths to which the government are prepared to go to curb the tide of juvenile disobediance.
One of the most controversial films of all time, clever, creepy and ultra-violent, Battle Royale is the jewel in the crown of Japanese Shock Cinema." - Play.com

Universal remote in a pillow. Sweet lazy bliss!
So, in order to make you even more lazy Brookstone offers a remote that allows you to change the channel with your tongue. This is great for the fans that eat 80 wings and down 12 beers on a Sunday. Here is what engadget had to say...
It's a pillow. And a remote. And if your powers of observation are anywhere near "strong," you've probably deduced by now that you're looking at a universal remote control... albeit one that's wrapped within a pillow. We've seen similar creations come around in concept form, but leave it to the folks at Brookstone to turn this thing into a reality. Purportedly, this unit can be programmed to work with over 500 devices, and there's a power-saving auto shutoff feature that'll definitely be overrode by your incessant squeezing. We wouldn't count on this thing actually working well, but for $29.95 (in addition to the cost of two AAA batteries, of course), we highly doubt you'll find a more fashionable, lovable cube of cotton.-Brookstone

Apple just updated its homepage with a new splash screen teasing an "exciting announcement from iTunes" at 10AM ET tomorrow, saying that "Tomorrow is just another day. That you'll never forget." What could it be? What could it be?
iPhone stand gives your phone a tail
The Mobile Tail is basically an iPhone stand that’s designed to look exactly like a dog’s tail. Unfortunately, the design remains a concept for now, but hopefully, we’ll see it produced in the near future. Click below for more pictures. It’s crafted from flexible liquid silicone rubber (LSR) – a non-reactive, high-purity material and attaches to any device via the suction cup. -techworld

Phone Springs to Life When Receiving Calls
How often do you miss a call because you just don’t notice your phone ringing? How much easier would it be to notice the ringing if your phone could stand up and announce itself? This super-fun concept Nokia phone, called the Nokia Kinetic, from design student Jeremy Innes-Hopkins was meant to be as playful as possible, which it achieves with its unusual talent. - Gajitz
The design innovations don’t end with the stand-out stand-up feature. The phone’s camera shutter button is located at the bottom right of the body, meaning that you hold the device just like a digital camera when taking a picture. The slightly thickened base of the phone makes it easy to grip, though it might be thick enough to discourage some people from wanting to carry it around. But the stand-out feature of this phone is undoubtedly its ability to stand up on its edge when it receives a phone call. It achieves this surprising feat with the use of an electromagnet in the base that shifts, allowing the whole thing to stand up and let you know when someone wants to get in touch with you. Tapping the phone gets it to lie down again. Two taps will set the phone’s manual stand-up mode, making it easier to watch movies, look at pictures or listen to music. A proximity sensor in the phone tells it when it’s in your pocket so it doesn’t stand up at inappropriate times. Of course, the Nokia Kinetic is just a student project and not an actual product, but it’s not hard to imagine it making it to the market one day.

Massive 58-inch MultiTouch iPhone Table
This is crazy!
Table Connect for iPhone is a superb project which makes an exact copy of the iPhone onto a huge 4 feet 10 inch table. All of the same mulitouch movements (swipe, pinch, etc.) apply. We have seen some epic DIY furniture before, but nothing comes close to this fully functioning 58″ capacitive multi-touch surface.
To have one for yourself, you have to get a large capacitive surface that will double up as a table (probably incredibly expensive). Once you have that, you’re pretty much all set. All you have to do is jailbreak an iPhone and use the Table Connect app. Any iPhone model can be connected to the multi-touch surface with a standard dock connector. What you get finally is a much larger screen to play around with your iPhone apps, pinch-zoom and everything.
